He will make sure your teeth are in good health and that no prior treatments are required. If you decide to move forward, Dr. Miller help you choose a shade that closely resembles your teeth. Then, the dental lab will create your custom veneers, tailored to blend in perfectly with your smile.
Once your personalized veneers are in production, the next step is to prepare the teeth. This requires some enamel removal to make room for the veneer. While it’s a gentle, minimally invasive step, it’s also irreversible. Once Dr. Miller removes the enamel, it doesn’t grow back. After your teeth are prepped, Dr. Miller will place temporary veneers to protect your smile as you wait for your custom smile.
When the lab sends us your permanent veneers, you’ll return to our office for placement. At this appointment, Dr. Miller will gently etch the surface of your teeth to improve bonding. He’ll then apply dental adhesive and carefully place each veneer. A special curing light hardens the adhesive, ensuring a secure, long-lasting bond.
