If you are missing only a series of teeth, partial dentures can replace them for you. The partial denture is made from a gum-colored base with crowns attached to it. The base is attached to a metal frame that hugs your surrounding teeth and anchors the dentures in place.

When you are missing most of your teeth or need to have all of your remaining teeth extracted, full denture is a great solution. Full dentures are placed in your mouth once your gums have healed after the extractions. Our dentures are custom made, so they will fit comfortably in your mouth. For same-day dentures, Dr. Miller will take an impression of your teeth prior to your teeth being extracted. He will send this, along with X-ray images, to a lab to create your custom denture. Once we receive your dentures, we will remove your teeth and place your denture immediately in your mouth. After your jaw naturally shrinks and adjusts without teeth, you will need to come back into our office to have new denture made.

Implant-Retained Denture

Implant-retained dentures use dental implant to secure your dentures. Once your bone is healed from the implant surgery, Dr. Miller will place dentures on top of the implants to hold them in place. Implant-retained denture require that you have a healthy amount of bone left in your jaw to support the implant posts.
