What is Fix on Six?
Have you heard of an all-on-four, or fix-on-six and have questions about these implant-retained denture options? Watch this video by Dr. Rick Miller, an experienced Dallas dentist, as he explains how we can utilize mini dental implants to fully restore your smile, your self-confidence, your ability to eat, and your overall quality of life.
For our patients that wear dentures, oftentimes they end up putting them in their pocket or their purse if they’re not in public. And then to secure them in public, they have to wear that goop. It doesn’t taste good. The denture still slips around. They’re limited on what they can eat. And there’s plastic throughout the roof of their mouth so that their taste is inhibited.
Now, with what we call ‘Fix on Six’, that is anchored and this is like a bridge of teeth and it snaps in place. They can chew anything, they’ve got a better smile. They forget that they really have anything in there. It is almost like having your natural teeth. So you go backwards in time. Okay, so let me tell you about a situation that we had happen in the office. We had a lady that had been talked into getting a denture. She absolutely despised it. She would keep it in her purse. And when she came to us, we did a consultation, we did 3D imaging, a CBCT, and as you can see, we placed ten mini implants.
And by the way, we call it fix on six because they are very secure with six implants. We don’t charge more if we use more implants. I use as many implants as the bone will accept because we want it to be successful and very secure, and it was. And she is delighted to be done with her denture. If you’d like, her video is included. So take a look.
If you or someone you love is struggling with loose, uncomfortable dentures, mini dental implants are the affordable solution you’ve been looking for.
